INEC in Kuje area council register Three Thousand Five Hundred voters in the first quarter





   The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, in Kuje area council has disclosed that it has so far registered Three Thousand Five Hundred voters in the first quarter of voters registration exercise in the area.

   Speaking at the completion of the first quarter of the exercise in Kuje at the weekend, the electoral officer of the council, Mr. Zainab Gbefwi, said that the names of registered voters in the area would be displayed this week for identification, verification and correction before cards are printed.
  Gbefwi further disclosed that, the second quarter of the exercise for the year will begin on July 31, adding that it will be decentralized in three electoral wards of Kuje central, Rubochi and Kwakwu, to reach rural areas and enable those who missed the last exercise, as well as those who recently attained the age 18 years to partake in the exercise.
