Presidential Amnesty Programme graduate 97 delegates in advanced farming methods


   The Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP,  has successfully graduated 97 delegates in advanced farming methods from the Bio-resources Development Centre, Odi, Bayelsa State.

   According to reports, they are part of the first batch of one hundred delegates deployed in November at the start of a joint pilot Agricultural training initiative involving five hundred delegates of PAP and supervised by the National Biotechnology Development Agency, NABDA.
   The Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and Coordinator, Presidential Amnesty Programme, Brig. Gen. Paul Boroh (Rtd) who was represented at the ceremony by the head of Post training and Engagement, Major Abdul Matti (Rtd) lauded the delegates for their will, perseverance and dedication to the cause of lifting Nigeria to an enviable heights using Agriculture.

   He described the training in advanced farming methods as vital to government’s current crusade to explore the business opportunities in agriculture and tasked the delegates to be forthright and to deliver on the mandate handed to them by President Muhammadu Buhari.
