Federal Government in Talks To Free Remaining Chibok Girls

   

  Vice President, Prof.  Yemi Osinbajo, says talks are on-going for the release of more of the school girls still being held by the Boko Haram militants.
The Vice President said this during an interaction with journalists and activists at the State House in Abuja.

    The renewed commitment is coming as the Bring Back Our Girls campaign group began a  week-long series of activities to commemorate the third year since the abduction of the school girls.
   The group’s convener, Oby Ezekwesili, had accused the Federal Government of complacency and maintaining what was termed a definite silence about the search of the remaining 195 missing Chibok school girls.
   She therefore urged President Muhammadu Buhari to fulfill his promise and responsibility by ensuring the speedy return of the girls.
