Not less than 1,000 pilgrims who could not make the pilgrimage to Israel in 2016 would be airlifted on Monday

   .
Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Tor Uja, made this known in an interview with newsmen in Abuja, saying that the pilgrims, who were from seven states and different organisations, could not travel last year because the commission could not process their documents.

The delays happened due to the Israeli Nation being on holidays throughout October, which was the time the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission would have airlifted the pilgrimages.
Meanwhile, pilgrims from Adamawa state may have to wait to be transported to the holy land in Easter because it had no fewer than 1000 pilgrims.
