NDDC says it has reached a deal with the United Kingdom Government aimed at improving service delivery

Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, says it has reached a deal with the United Kingdom Government aimed at improving the commission’s service delivery to the Niger Delta.

Managing Director of the commission, Nsima Ekere, disclosed this at the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on two programmes under the Department of International Development, in Port Harcourt today.
Ekere said that NDDC sought assistance from Facility for Oil Sector Transparency and Reform and Market Development Project in the Niger Delta due to the current management’s determination to reposition the commission for better service delivery to the nine Niger Delta states.
According to him, the MoU will also enable grant-funding for sustainable development initiatives that will stimulate growth in Non-Oil Products.
