Flag Officer Commanding, Eastern Naval Command advocate stronger ties with the nation’s security agencies in order to check criminality






     The Flag Officer Commanding, Eastern Naval Command, Rear Admiral Victor Adedipe, has advocated stronger ties with the nation’s security agencies in order to check criminality on the coast lines.

   Rear Admiral Adedipe  who made call yesterday during his familiarization tour to NNS Jubilee  at Ikot Abasi Local Government Area  said the collaboration and support of other security agencies will  help  in the fight against  sea pirates  illegal oil bunkering and other criminality on the nations territorial waters.
   He warned naval personnel against fighting with other military personnel and sister agencies saying it is appalling that security personnel have become enemies to themselves instead of collaborating to fight insecurity and criminality.
  According to him on no account should a naval personnel attack another personnel as anyone caught will not be spared.
    Adedipe, who urged naval personnel to be discipline and respects constituted authorities at all times urged them to avoid things that could cause disaffections among them.
