Police in Niger State intercept gang of suspected cattle rustlers






    The police in Niger State have intercepted a gang of suspected cattle rustlers terrorizing Ringa Village in the Rafi Local Government Area of the state.

  The command’s Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, told newsmen that the Divisional Police Officer and his team swung into action, trailed the hoodlums into Baga-Baga Forest in Kaduna State.
   Elkana, who confirmed the incident yesterday, said that during the operation two hoodlums escaped with bullet wounds, adding that 300 cows were recovered from them.
