The Rotary Club of Warri has flagged-off the
construction of a Physiotherapy Departmental project at the Central Hospital,
Warri, Delta State.
President of the Rotary Club of Warri, Daniel
Agbofode, in his remark shortly before the flag-off of the multi-million naira
project, explained that the decision to embark on the project became necessary
following the upsurge in accidents resulting to bone fractures and the need to
tackle increasing cases of diabetes and stroke within the eight local
government areas serviced by the Warri hospital.
He assured that the project will be ready in a
record time and noted that efforts were on ground to incorporate other
organizations towards the realization of the project.
