The Promise Keepers are to return back to base for the commencement of preparations for the second round today
The Promise keepers ended the first stanza with a 2-0 home win over MFM at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo after Alhassan Ibrahim and Friday Ubong goals sealed an important win which ensured they retain their fifth position with 29 points from 19 matches.
Meanwhile, midfielder Michael Ibe has disclosed that his colleague have been told to report in Uyo today for the start of preparation for the second round.
Akwa United will open their second round account in Lagos with a date with MFM in the reverse fixture of the last tie of the first round which they won 2-0 in Uyo.
