Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has apprehended five people for various registration infractions in the ongoing 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, by the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board, JAMB.
According to reports, Some of those apprehended were Computer-Based Test, CBT, centres owners licensed by JAMB to conduct registration exercise for the candidates planning to take the forthcoming UTME.
In a statement
made available to newsmen by the Head, Media, JAMB, Fabian Benjamin said the
fraudsters were arrested from various location of the country where they were
perpetuating their nefarious activities.
According
to Benjamin, some of the location from which these criminal elements were operating
include Oyo state, Ogun state and Kwara.
