Oyo State Government is warning residents of the State to desist from trading under high-voltage power cables and on the streets.
Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Toye Arulogun in a statement made available to journalists in Ibadan also admonished residents of the state to be cautious of their activities and waste disposal habits during the rainy season, even as he reiterated the government’s commitment to people’s welfare.
He called on them to be wary of staying under the electric wire and pole especially during raining season.
Furthermore, Arulogun appealed to the citizens to protect government’s properties against vandals, saying that resources expended on vandalized properties could be channeled to other areas.
