Nigeria Immigration warns applicants against fraudsters

Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, is cautioning prospective applicants seeking employment into the service not to pay any money to any person or group of persons.
NIS Comptroller-General, Muhammad Babandede, gave the warning in a statement signed by the service Spokesperson, Sunday James, in Abuja.

He also called on applicants to follow instructions given in the advertorials and to visit the NIS official online portal www.immigration.gov.ng for further information and clarification.
Yesterday, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Nigeria Fire Service, NIS and Nigeria Prisons Service boards announced approval for recruitment.
