National Human Rights Commission calling for the establishment of family courts in the five South Eastern states

National Human Rights Commission is calling for the establishment of family courts in the five South Eastern states.

Its Zonal Director, UcheNwokocha, in an interview said the commission was concerned about the pile-up of family issues and cases in states and federal high courts in the zone.
According to Nwokocah, if family courts were established, they would deliberate on family issues often delayed in high courts.
