50 persons living with disabilities have being equipped with starter packs by Delta State Government

  AS part of efforts by the Delta State Government to ensure that every deltans , particularly the economically weak and unemployed people were capture in its empowerment programmes, no fewer than 50 persons living with disabilities have being equipped with starter packs.

    Speaking during the ceremony, held in Asaba, the state Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa said that his administration is irrevocably committed to the welfare of Deltans, particularly the economically weak individuals.

   Earlier, the state Commissioner for Women Affairs, Social and Community Development, Revd. Omatsola Williams, while thanking the state Governor, charged the beneficiaries of the programme to justify the huge investment by the state government  by channeling the equipment into proper use.
