FG announce N2.8million doses of vaccines to be delivered to curb the outbreak of meningitis



   

   The Federal Government has announced that N2.8million doses of vaccines will soon be delivered, to help curb the outbreak of meningitis in some states.

   Executive Secretary of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, NPHCDA, Dr. Faisal Shuaibu, told the House of Representatives Committee on Health Care Services in Abuja, that the vaccines were expected from the United Kingdom and India.
   According to reports, Shuaibu did not give the exact date the vaccines would arrive in Nigeria but however explained that the first batch of 823,000 doses would be supplied by the UK, while the second batch of 2million doses would come in from India.
