Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has assured minority communities in the state of government’s attention, saying that they will not be marginalised by his administration.
The governor gave the assurance when the Council of Chiefs of Bille Kingdom paid him a courtesy visit at Government House, in Port Harcourt.
He promised to sand-fill portions of Bille community next year, adding that the state government will also embark on shore protection to protect the community from river overflow, as well as complete the abandoned Primary Healthcare centre and Model Primary school.
According to him, the proposed projects will be added into next year’s budget.
