Governor Obaseki restates commitment to improve Education




     Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving the standard of education in the state.

   Governor Obaseki stated this when he received executive members of the Idia College Old Girls Association  at the Edo State Government House in Benin-City.
   The governor lamented the standards of education in the state declaring that his administration would complement the provision of educational infrastructure with better teaching and learning standards.
   Earlier, the president of the association,  Madeleine Igbinoba commended the governor  who she recalled was a former teacher in the school for the ongoing rehabilitation of a road leading to the school, adding that the association was contributing its quota to establishing better teaching and learning conditions in its Alma Mater.
