British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Paul Arkwright, says with Brexit, Britain’s relationship with Nigeria will change for the better, as Britain will no longer be a parent to Nigeria, but a partner.
Arkwright, who stated this in Lokoja while delivering a lecture at the Federal University, Lokoja, on BREXIT: Lessons, Challenges and Opportunities for Nigeria, also said the UK is not afraid to face the challenges of what Brexit will cause.
According to him, the UK is working towards releasing stolen funds lodged in their country by corrupt Nigerian leaders, saying that Nigeria has to wait as there are legal processes involved.
