President Muhammadu Buhari to hold talks with African maritime administrators


    President Muhammadu Buhari will hold a meeting with the Association of African Maritime Administration on April 20 in Abuja, toward maximising the economic potential of the continent’s oceans.

    According to a statement by the Head, Corporate Communications of NIMASA, Isichei Osamgbi, the meeting will be part of African Maritime Administration’s conference being organised by NIMASA and the International Maritime Organisation.
   Osamgbi said the meeting would attract 32 African countries as well as other maritime nations outside Africa, including the representatives of the International Maritime Organisation and major shipping line operators.
   President Buhari will also unveil the new NIMASA brand at the event.
