No fewer than 49 National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, members have been sent back to their parents from the orientation camp in Osun State.
The State Coordinator of NYSC, Emmanuel Attah, said some of the corps members were medically unfit to participate in the activities of the orientation camp.
He explained further that the decision was taken in order to prevent serious health issues, and even death of corps members while on camp.
Attah stressed that NYSC places priority on the health and welfare of corps members, saying qualified medical personnel are fully on ground to attend to any health issue.
