The Enugu State government has announced its plans to carryout repairs on the vandalised traffic stations across the state.

The work which will cost over 67 million Naira will include building and installation of eight meter high overhead vandal proof controller panel protection and replacement of 17 traffic stations.
According to the State Commissioner for Information, Godwin Udeughele this effort will make vandalism difficult for the hoodlums.
He further stated that it was easy for anybody to carry out the act because its within reach but the underground installation of batteries and will make it much more complex to vandalise.
Udeughele said the government has tightened up security on its properties and would persecute anyone who sabotages its effort.
He however called on residents to be more vigilant and report any suspicious movement around the equipment’s vicinity to law enforcement agencies.
