Fast & Furious 8’ breaks global box office record

    Fast & Furious 8 also known as The Fate of the Furious has grossed $532.5million at the global box office.

    According to reports, the latest movie in the Fast and Furious Franchise beat Star Wars The Force Awakens  for the all-time best global opening weekend.
   The action flick which stars Vin Diesel, who also doubles as the producer, is also the best produced by its studio, Universal, beating the Jurassic World $525.5m earned in 2015.
   The movie reportedly took in $432.3m at the international box office. Furious 8 took in a record-breaking $63.9m on its opening day alone in China this weekend.
   Fast & Furious 8 also stars Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Scott Eastwood, Nathalie Emmanuel, Kurt Russell, and Charlize Theron.
